Furniture proposals are inspired by this mood: they take inspiration to the furnishings of the wonderful country houses of late XIX century’s England, that were often characterized by pieces designed by one of the most important interior designers ever existed: Thomas Chippendale.
The taste of this collection is characterized by the use of destressed shades on woods and slightly an-tique finishing in pure Shabby Chic style.
For the 55th edition of the Salone del Mobile (Milan, April 12th-17 th, 2016), Gianfranco Ferré Home has been selected for the Hall 3 xLux, where the best luxury brands shown their products to respond promptly to the new market demand. The new xLux section, which the Salone del Mobile gave particular prominence in this 2016 edition, was dedicated to the combination of classic and design with a linear product but enriched with details and finishes.
Architect Livio Ballabio, the creative director, decided to present the brand Gianfranco Ferré Home in an exhibition space (Hall 3, Stand C29) with a completely original scenic design.
Spaces are characterized by a new spirit which integrates the usual classic lines with most contemporary and less decorative forms, but with the image of quality that has always distinguished the brand, guar-anteed by a richness of materials and details.
Also the chromatic proposal has been a big novelty: it doesn’t play anymore on contrasts, but it is fo-cused on more subdued and elegant tone sur tone atmosphere. Last year it was black and white, and white and blue, this year the tone goes from ivory to dove grey.
